Hi Joey,
I am 29 and have put on 20kg in the last 4 years due to medication for bipolar disoder. I have a busy lifestyle (drive 1 & 1/2 hrs a day) and usually work overtime most nights. I find it extreemly had to get motivated after work, as I am living in a new town with my partner, and hence do not have any friends/family to exercise with.
I am so tired of hating the way I look and the low self esteem that comes with this, I just want to get back to the way I used to be...
Please help.
Kind regards,
Kaz

Hard to say, Tina. Without really 'digging deep' with you - it would be faulty to tell you what I think. Keep at it though - it sounds like you are on the right track. If you need one-to-one coaching then I may be able to help.
Best,
Joey

Hello Joey,
I want to loose 10 pounds, I had my thyroid removed almost 2 years ago and gained about 12-15 lbs I have been trying desperately to get back my body. I joined a great gym 8mths ago and have been just starting to see results, just in my clothes not on the scale or inches. Do you think it's purely a thyroid thing, diet, or it really takes 4-5 days at the gym with intense cardio/strength training. Or was it such a jolt to my metabolism, that it's just an adjustment. I'm on armour thyroid and my numbers are great, just a resistant metabolism? what do you think Tina Kurtenbach

Joey,
I have been suffering from hypothyroidism for 8 years now. I havent changed my diet, but sometimes I will drop the weight like crazy and then all of the sudden I will put it all back on and then some. My weight will flucuate from 125 to 212 ( I am 5'2). When I gain the weight, it is in my stomach, thighs, back, and rear. Even when I lose weight I still have that excess. My main question is a good nutrition plan for hypthyroidism, I hear alot of vegetables, of course sugar and fat, and most carbs are not good for me to eat. The internet can be such a huge source of crap! Lol... I know some is good information, but most sucks! Got any ideas? I do not eat seafood of anykind, so, that causes problems with me being able to follow most diet plans.
Thanks for any help!!!

My wife is a 122 Lbs, 5.1 48 yr old. She has always had a lot of cellulite from her waist to her knees. We work out 4 times a week with dumbells/ and body weight exercises. We walk a hilly road about 8 months of the year, and generally stay very active. I have studies nutrition for years, so we eat well. She may not eat enough, cause i don't know what she eats during the day. We eat grass fed meat and yams a lot. We eat organic eggs every morning. The problem; she can't lose back to her original 110lbs and she seems resistant to muscle building. Can you help? What is missing? Why can't she firm up more and lose the dimples. (lots of dimpling)

Start with the mini-workouts on my Youtube channel: http://www.JoeyAtlas.TV
and be sure your daily nutrition is in order. You may also want to take a look at natural metabolism support: http://joeyatlas.getprograde.com/the-supplement...

Joey
