The Dynamic Duo of Real Fitness?

The last few weeks have been pretty incredible – So many things coming together – It’s time to share some of it with you…

In my last blog post I told you about an incredible fitness pro who has really impressed me (and me her :-) so much so that we are putting our heads together in order to bring you some top notch fitness items – such as a free radio show/podcast, awesome new exercise dvds and a handful of other surprises along the journey…

Even Better Than Wonder Woman – She’s REAL

Well, it’s officially time for me to introduce you to her. But before I do that – I want to say a few words about the ‘person’ behind the persona…

I’m a nickname fan – And I’ve already called Kristy a bunch of different things – such as: “The K-Bomb” and SuperGirl. (you’ll see why shortly)…

Like me – Kristy has had to overcome some significant obstacles in her life in order to achieve the great success she has, thus far in her life. None of what you are about to see has come “easily” to her – and because of that, it should not only inspire you – but fuel your motivation to keep moving forward when things don’t seem to be going your way.

In time, Kristy and I will get into finer details, most likely in the web radio show we will be doing together, starting in the near future.

There’s is no doubt – “superficially”, she is amazing in many ways – But her spirit is even more amazing…

What really drew me to her, is her mindset, her philosophy and her genuine desire to help those who have been unsuccessful up to this point. She and I immediately ‘clicked’ on that level – and it set the stage for all that is starting to come together now….

The First Workout

On Easter Sunday, Kristy took the ride here to Jacksonville, from Orlando – and we spent 2 solids hours going through some great workouts, challenging each other – and really having fun as we got to know each other a bit. The rest of the day was all about brainstorming and thinking of the ways we will team up to create some great stuff (Indoor/Outdoor Fitness DVDS, etc..) for different types of people – Both male and female.

Before I let you meet her – all I ask is that you take a few minutes to share your thoughts, comments and questions at the bottom of this post – after you watch the videos, etc….

Kristy will be stopping by here to see how this post is going and what kind of feedback we are getting – (She is very excited – as am I).

Help Us Name The Web Radio Show/Podcast

Also – Please let us know if you’d be interested in listening to Kristy and I in a free, monthly web-radio show/podcast – where we answer questions, talk about fitness & nutrition myths, etc….

I dare you to watch this video only once. She’s AWESOME. And yes – that is her doing all the flips, etc…

Here is a little video clip we shot at the end of our Big Easter Workout Session:

I think you see now why I consider her a ‘special’ fitness pro and person.

I’ve been interested in teaming up with a female fitness specialist for quite some time now – But up until meeting Kristy – nobody has been able to show me the unique traits I’ve been looking for…

Well, now it’s time to make some magic – all in efforts of helping you and anyone else who wants to join this “way”…

Please just take a minute to share your thoughts and comments below, maybe even help us name the radio show??? We are waiting to hear from you!!

Your trainer for life – your trainer forever,

Ms. Kristy Lee Wilson – You keep insisting people keep some of their opinions to there self (and that their making themselves look bad). It does not work that way. WE THE PEOPLE were asked for OUR opinions. YOU are the one making YOURSELF look bad. Just because you do not like their view you have a fit. A trainer should have an attitude of PROFESSIONALISM at all times.
My advice to everyone: RUN, don’t walk, from any trainer who is not professional! I know that I will be running as well as several others. Sorry Joey! I thought you were terrific, but your sidekick – not so much! I can see Kristy’s attitude and how she approaches her craft. This is not my idea of a great trainer.
A trainer must be committed to your success, sometimes even more committed to it than you are.
As a personal trainer you have to develop the KINDNESS to aid those who are not meeting their targets. Your TALKING SKILLS (communication) ought to be flawless since you attempt to relate things that people don’t want to do and get them to understand that they should do it to realize their objectives.
A personal trainer also will see you in your most somewhat insecure instances. Your own weak spots tend to be exposed openly. It is a very humbling experience as you exhibit your emotions and low self-confidence before a personal stranger.
If you see that a personal trainer is not really speaking very well together with their clients or that they are being too hard on the client, you may want to STOP that personal trainer entirely.
I also go along with the person who concluded that you may experience to go through plenty of personal trainers to get the one that is just right for you and will support you to meet your goals.

  • Regina

I agree that you, Jessica, may have went a little overboard on the way you stated your opinion, but I also do agree with your assessment on wanting a personal trainer who works out and looks fit. I agree that although Kristy definitely works out she doesn’t look fit. Lean is sexy but there is a point where it can just be too much. We all need to remember to keep a balance….because I don't care how thin you are if you look unhealthy it just isn't worth it.
There is more dissatisfaction in the fitness and diet industry than any other. Imagine that… this is absolutely Crazy, huh? I am just trying not to waste my MONEY or more importantly my TIME working with someone who can’t offer me guaranteed success.
It is a HUGE mistake to simply rely on any old trainer to help you to consistently get the results that you desire. I can't tell you how many people pay tons of money for expensive personal trainers (and their DVD’s and whatever they are pitching) and get little to no results after months and months of working with these people.
I mean really, do the math on this one. How can someone who has not achieved what you want to accomplish possibly help you how to get there?

  • JoeyAtlas

Anne – thanks for chiming in here….

First and foremost – Here's what I requested (copied and pasted from top of my blog post:

“all I ask is that you take a few minutes to share your thoughts, comments and questions at the bottom of this post..”

I DID NOT ask anyone to give me their OPINION about whether or not they think Kristy is too thin. And here's why…

I DON'T CARE what anyone thinks about her physique. IT DOES NOT MATTER here… – Not in my zone.

So – to keep this simple. If you're judging Kristy and my decision to team up with this extraordinary person – all on her body. Then this space is NOT for you… You obviously do not get me and what I stand for.

There are plenty of other places to go with that type of mindset. Sorry – it just doesn't work in my camp.

I wish you the best – and anyone else who wishes to follow that thought process and path.

We have lots of incredible things to share with lots of great people here.

    ONWARD!!

    Joey

Superficial snap judgments and ensuing remarks are often inaccurate; Just part of average human nature though… – Something to be mindful of on your journey…

    WOW-THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!

Amen Joey. Well said. I second that :-)

  • JoeyAtlas

    Thanks, Kristy :-)
I was going to add something philosophical here to help bring the bigger picture into clearer focus … But, we'll get to that in another post – or in the radio show…

    To Miss Kristy :

Wow from a 200 pounds heavyweight to a gorgeous fitness diva. What a transformation!! I wish i have hollow abs like urs. Not easy for a food lover like me. Im curious. Does fitness divas like kristy and joey ever eat like normal people? hehehe i mean like eating cheesecake, tiramisu and chocolate cake or eat lambchops? I love em. Hate to give it up to lose some blubber.

Nevertheless im inspired. i just lost 7kgs and 30kgs to go [ zillion of miles more to go i know] keep it up dyvas. Mwahz :)

  • tlt0401

Joey and Kristy…thank you for trying to put a stop to some people's negativity based in fear and insecurity…onto bigger and brighter things…I saw the video 3 times and have checked this blog a couple of times…it just made me wonder if I could do 'that'…I went home and tried it, in addition to my normal routine for the day…I actually got 3 sets of 6 straight leg raises with 6 reps of pull-ups in between…it felt amazing!!! I was sore for 2 days- that lactic acid build up the next day is something I personally crave, because if I don't get it, I feel like I didn't push hard enough the day before, and then to have muscle tightness and still be having to stretch that group the 2nd day too?!!?…I am so pumped to know that two people- who have such a heart for fitness and health- have decided to join together to help others of us who hold the same drive for health and self-improvement…hopefully it will give some people- that do not yet know that they too could possess that same drive- the catalyst to improving their entire life…and that of their families as well- helping to heal America (and elsewhere…) one heart at a time- cause in the end, that is where it is at…can't wait to see what's to come…until then keep your heads high and hearts centered (as I've seen you will)…and Thank You for the inspiration!!!

  • http://twitter.com/kristyleewilson Kristy Lee Wilson

    Hi Elle!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far!! 7kg is awesome!! Stay focused and you will get to your end goal. Know that you have both myself and Joey supporting you :-)

Lol to answer your question about if we eat like normal people … YES!! :-) I don't believe in saying anything is off limits. Everything in moderation is fine. The key here is 'moderation'. But yeah, I eat ice cream, chocolate, chips … you name the bad food … I probably eat it at some point lol. But here's what I aim for … eat healthy 90% of the time and the other 10% we can indulge and enjoy the 'not so healthy' things we all love to eat. By the way … I LOVE cheesecake!! :-)

Joey and I will talk more about this very topic so keep sending us your questions. The more questions … the more we can help. Keep up the great work Elle!!

    Kristy

  • http://twitter.com/kristyleewilson Kristy Lee Wilson

Love, love, LOVE it!! This is great :-) Awesome job on the little 'extra' workout you did too. That's good stuff (and pretty impressive!!). I hear what you are saying about loving being sore. I love that feeling too. Joey and I have a lot of great, fun stuff planned that we are super excited to share with people such as yourself. Stay tuned … more fun stuff coming soon.

Awesome job though. Keep doing what you are doing :-)

Joey – Before I move onward I have one last thing to say. You need to read your dictionary because the definition of comment is: 1. A remark; observation. 2. Gossip; talk. 3. A criticism or interpretation. 4. An annotation to a text.
The definition of thought is: 1. The product of mental activity. 2. An idea or notion. 3. The act or process of thinking. 5. Consideration or attention. 6. An opinion or belief.

Joey & Kristy – you two are such hypocrites!
On the website submityourarticle.com Joey Atlas states, A lean 'six pack' midsection is a sign of beauty, strength and attraction.” Isn’t that a little judgmental?
On the website articlebase.com Joey Atlas sates, “Yes, we occasionally see women who look like male bodybuilders or power-lifters – but these freakish looks can almost always be traced back to some method of pharmaceutical enhancement. For example, taking anabolic steroids to develop as much muscle mass as possible is one way for a woman to lose the fit and feminine look. Nothing against them – but they do not represent the definition of fitness.” Hmm… isn’t this calling the kettle black? YOU are judging and/or giving your opinion on someone’s looks/physique in this statement. And you are assuming they may be taking enhancement drugs. Even so – whatever way you look at it you think they look “freakish.” As you said, “Nothing against them – but they do not represent the definition of fitness.” That’s how I and other people feel about Kristy. Nothing against her, but in our view she doesn’t represent the definition of fitness to us.
You have also stated, “All people have their own personal definition of what it would mean for them to be in great physical condition.” So you’re saying our definition is wrong and yours is right. Hmm… contradiction, you think?
On your website, Bestfitnessadvice.com, you state, “See, this is one of those big mis-perceptions of fitness as it applies to the general public. Being strong, lean and 'well-toned' does not mean you want to be abnormally muscular with veins popping out of your forehead.”
To us so called naysayers – Being strong, lean and 'well-toned' does not mean WE want to be ABNORMALLY MUSCULAR with RIBS popping out of our body.

Kristy – you said that fitness is not about body image, but I beg to differ. While it isn’t the only aspect it still plays a part. Physical appearance has a lot to do with body image. Your profession deals with body images. You’re transforming bodies. Joey talks a lot about “looking in the mirror.” As quoted by Joey Atlas on butthipandthighmakeover.com, “Picture yourself at the next wedding, party, reunion or during your next vacation. Are you ready for that dress you would love to wear? Are you prepared to put on that bathing suit or bikini? Could you do it tomorrow if you had to? Would you be happy about it – as you look at yourself in the mirror today?”
Another quote from Joey Atlas at the same website, “Soon, you can be on your way to transforming that leg, butt, hip and thigh area, that you hate to look at in the mirror, into a shapely and firmly toned lower body that you want to show off to everybody.”
And yet another quote from the above website: In reference to the genetics, Joey Atlas states, “The only one that is not controlled by you is your genetics or more precisely – your genetic range. In other words, if you let yourself go, your genetics will ruin your body. But, if you take control of your life through smart, consistent, PROPERLY STRUCTURED workouts and nutritional habits, you will be in control of how your body looks. Not your genetics!”

I could write a book with all your quotes and contradictions.
BTW – Joey – As you stated to one of the posts, “Superficial snap judgments and ensuing remarks are often inaccurate; Just part of average human nature though… – Something to be mindful of on your journey..” Ditto for YOU! What Double standards you have.
I agree with the person who posted that this is like all the other internet stuff out there. People – Charming is another word for BS.
    Peace Out!

  • JoeyAtlas

Anne – excellent work. Your additional info should push this post onto the first page of Google. So, even more people in need of our help can find us. We thank you for that. :-)

WOW!! I'm curious as to what obsticles Ms. Kristy had to overcome to achieve her present fitness level. I'm 45 years old. As a child, I dreamed of being an Olympic gymnastics athlete and was training myself in that direction starting before the age of 10. Unfortuneately, fate stepped in and I became severly ill and nearly died on more than one occasion. After several years of hospitals, learning to walk again and getting back to “normal” that is when I realized my goals before I fell ill were no longer a possibility. However, I have “recovered” better than expected. I know all about pushing myself when the going gets tough—especially, if its a matter of life or death. Its been several years, but I still remember I great I felt when I was working toward a goal of physical fitness and the added benefits that came with it that I didn't expect with regards to my well-being. Does the kind of physical fitness that Ms. Kristy has achieve start when one is very young or can I (even at the age of 45) still get this physically fit or at least achieve some level of what Ms. Kristy has accomplished? If you're willing to share your knowledge with me, I'm willing to shut-up and listen and put what I've learned into action…

  • Elle

wow!! the fitness diva actually replied. gonna print your answer and paste it at my bedroom and work place to motivate me. thank you.

If it is not trouble, can miss kristy please show a few exercise for those who has not healthy knees like mine. I cant do jogging or running because operation was done on it few years ago. If i run or do jog, it will hurt. I appreciate if can. anyway i did try to run. not only did it hurt but some people are laughing at me maybe coz it is funny a fat woman jogging so i stopped.

I thank you for your time reading my post. thank you.

  • http://twitter.com/kristyleewilson Kristy Lee Wilson

Lol you are making me laugh Elle :-)

Can you email me at kristyleefitness@me.com and let me know what kind of knee surgery you had? I can certainly do a video with a few exercises for you. I have also had knee surgery so I understand you not being able to run too much. If you have access to a bike (either stationary or road bike) I'd recommend cycling instead of running for the time being. But send me an email, let me know what kind of surgery you had and let's go from there ok :-)

Janice I love hearing stories such as yours. I am very inspired by people like yourself!! Joey and I will be talking more about my obstacles in future posts and on The Fit-Life Show :-)

Even at 45 you can still achieve the level of fitness you want to achieve. It is never too late to start the fitness journey and know that you have myself and Joey here to support you! We have a lot of good stuff to share with you :-)

  • Regina

WOW!! Great post! Amazing analysis! You really did your homework. Gotta love it when someone exposes the hypocrisies of the fitness elite, especially when they’re prancing around with do-gooder messages that they fail to keep themselves.

  • Steven

Too much DRAMA with this Duo and the peeps: K-Bomb should learn to practice some self control. When angry, don’t snap at anyone. Never throw a tantrum. Stay calm and collected. Be adult enough to take control of situation and transform your anger into something more productive and passive. As soon as people think your anger goes to volcanic proportions easily, they will find it hard to come to you. I’m out – Don’t need this DRAMA!

  • JoeyAtlas

Steven – any wound, be it a deep bruise – an open cut – or even stitches… will cause immediate pain when grabbed, pressed or hit. Natural human reaction is to scream when that pain is felt…

This is equally true for emotional wounds.

Let that analogy help you see deeper – and possibly more clearly, into the bigger picture here…

If not – there is much more to come.

    Joey

  • http://twitter.com/kristyleewilson Kristy Lee Wilson

Steven – and anyone else who has mistakenly taken some of my responses to certain negative people on here as me 'having a fit' – I am not lol. I am simply responding (and in some cases defending myself when the unnecessary need for insults were thrown in there). I am not throwing a tantrum at all … I prefer to channel my energy into the positive people on here. Bring on the constructive criticism. I love it and I certainly welcome it!! I will listen to constructive criticism all day long. However, I am not a fan of people insulting others … whether it be myself or someone else. I just feel there is absolutely no need for it.

Thank you for your advice and comments :-)

I think what the clip shows best is: FITNESS IS FUN!!! Keep it up!!!

  • pamela

    Hi Joey!
Wow! I'm amazed at what this lady can do! Great idea for you two to team up together. I look forward to listening to/watching the results.
Wish you both success in the new venture,
    Pamela

  • Kat

It’s sad (to me) that people have become so negatively opinionated, but regardless, I don’t see why I should keep silent about an important issue just because a few people will get upset.

Joey – I am proud to call YOU my friend! As my friend, I want you to know that the truth always emerges over time; the challenge is to get it right before history has been written.

The way I look at is that you have been able to do some amazing things with this website and inspiring people. That was your original passion, your goal. If your passion is starting change or shift and you want to share that perspective with others – do it! The worst thing that can happen is that you might lose some of your current audience, but gain a completely new one.
Change is always good. I have always admired people who do what they feel is right thing to do and persist in the face of adversity. So go ahead and share your new perspectives with us. It will just make us grow and learn further.

Leave you? I don’t think the people who admire your work will do anything of the sort. Even if some people leave, so what? Maybe the people who leave weren’t the best fit for your fitness community to begin with. If someone is really so offended about one opinion that they’re ready to write you out of their life, the relationship wasn’t that strong to begin with.

Amidst the wailing and gnashing of teeth about the presence of Kristy in the Joey Atlas Program, it’s a relief to have a calm voice reminding us that asserting our ideas on fitness matters in a respectful and rational manner is okay and even necessary. The world won’t end; the real friends won’t leave.

In truth, I am not sure how I feel about the Dynamic Duo part yet, but I would never stop following you because my opinion may differ from yours…in a fitness sense, that would be so totally idiotic. I think it would be a sad day if I felt our relationship had nothing of value simply because we don’t share the same views all the time. Plus, I believe in giving new things a chance. One never knows.

It becomes an argument of quality versus quantity. As a blogger/trainer or even just as a human being do you want lots of people around you who know relatively little about you and don’t have much of a stake in knowing you, or do you want to be grateful for the relationships and people you know that care about you, look at your perspectives and try to understand them, and will stick around? Quality is greater than quantity.

Regardless of where someone falls on a certain issue, what’s important is that we can actually have mature, intelligent discussions. I have far more respect for the people who disagree with me, but do so respectfully and intelligently than for those who agree with me and refuse to listen to any other viewpoint. Even if people disagree with what my views are, I expect them to respect me and the personal experiences that shaped them; as they should you.

Your blog is the only one I actually look forward to and read immediately. I think “hey! Joey wrote!” And it is nice knowing that you are reading the words of someone who genuinely cares about people. Keep on being who you are. It is clearly working and thanks for encouraging the rest of us. When you believe something (when it’s your passion), what you talk about is a way of life — not simply an opinion. Thanks for the challenge to be courageous…

Crazy that people feel the need (and the right) to restrict what you (or anyone else) should do. Maybe it causes them stress because it doesn’t fit into the neat little box they put you in.

I hope the relationship between Joey and his audience is deeper than a disagreement over how Kristy looks. I hope that his audience respects him enough as an individual to value his viewpoints, even if they don’t agree.

Be the most authentic person you can be and forget about what others think of you. The lesson is there is no right way or wrong way… just your way. The rules of etiquette still apply and manners, but as for your choices, they are yours to make… not ours. Glad you have the guts to stand up with integrity for what you believe in and the way you deliver your message. Also, Kudos for having the guts to do what you think is in their best interest. I think your idea is far more engaging than your typical cookie-cutter idea that plays it safe. Keep doing what you’re doing and the people who see the value will stick around whether they agree with your fitness views or not. I am one of them.

If some of your audience can’t deal with that, they aren’t worth stressing over. I’m sure the ones who unsubscribe/stop visiting are a tiny proportion of the ones who disagree with you in the first place.

I think Bill Cosby said it well “I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody”

I want to reiterate to everyone that giving your opinion is fine and let’s people know where you stand. We don’t have to agree with it as long as we accept the fact that you have a right to your personal opinions. But being “opinionated” is a whole different issue and leaves no room for an honest and respectful exchange of ideas. It has nothing to do with if we agree, but the principal of being able to share ourselves and be RESPECTED.

It’s sad that the world has become a scary place to express an opinion. Everything has been taken to an extreme. If we all express ourselves authentically on important issues and a respectful discussion is opened, imagine how much further we could be in terms of humanity. The key is RESPECT.

I’m glad to come out in support of you because you are speaking up about some really important issues. One of the reasons I so enjoy reading your blog is because you do write with such integrity and transparency about your views on fitness.

The important thing is to figure out how to state your opinion intelligently without resorting to personal attacks or unfair accusations. If people can’t handle that and get upset, that’s their problem.

Most of us are here for your intelligent, authentic voice and will keep coming back for more.

I think most intelligent people can disagree without taking things personally, and if someone was so offended by you sharing your views that they essentially boycotted you, they aren’t very mature to begin with.

It’s critical for us to learn how to discuss these issues rationally again, so Joey can make better plans, work out the kinks in the program, and agree on what the end results should look like. I encourage all of you to continue adding your rational, well-considered opinions so we can all get past the hyper-emotional rhetoric.

The fact of the matter is, we live in a world that is diverse, colorful and vibrant with difference
Why would we expect people to be anything less? If we all liked the same things, held the same opinions, and attended the same events, this world would be pretty bland and boring. A lot of it comes down to gratitude of what is, instead of what we think it should be.

I hope that my words have even changed one persons mind, made one person see the humanity rather than the fight. I hope that everyone keep those good thoughts coming.

  • Kat

I believe these quotes are taken out of context. Joey is one of the most extraordinary men I know. He is a very DEDICATED PROFESSIONAL! I really do not know how anyone can question that.

Before you judge – Let’s all give Joey and Kristy a chance to prove to us they know what they are talking about. If you want to judge them, judge them on what you see they can do and what they have to offer. Only then – can you take or leave them and their services.

  • Kat

About Kristy’s so-called ranting/tantrums: Although I think some people are totally misguided about what is truly happening here, “Let he/she who has never made a mistake throw the first stone.” Give her a chance, for some – a second chance. Remember EVERYONE deserves a second chance; if Joey vouches for Kristy that is good enough for me and should be for you.

Kat – to be able to put your thoughts into the written word like this is an AWESOME talent. One that does not come easily, or at all, to most people. Keep workin' it!! Something very special there.

And a sincere thank you for taking the time to post what you have in the several replies you have made. Your thoughts and support are *massively* appreciated by me – and Kristy… No doubt.

    THANKS! :-)

Phew, WOW. Oh My God! I'm fairly new to Joey and Kirsten but i can't wait to learn more about you both! Kirsten you look and move, well WOW is all can can say, you have inspired me.
I also love Kat's comments about being authentic and their being no right or wrong way. I am just about to start my very first Bootcamp and am having some issues worrying about people comparing me to the last trainer that did a bootcamp in my area! I'm going to keep what you have said in my mind ay all times x

Good luck guys you have just gained a new friend/fan x

You look like a great duo. One of the OPINIONS on here is just awful. People forget that we got into this business to help people reach there goals and potential. I'm so please i've come across you guys

It would be easier to be inspired by Kristy if I knew what obstacles she has “overcome”. So far my impression is that she has always lived in the world of fitness and had great opportunities. Anyone care to comment??

  • Marianne

    Hi Joey and Kristy,

I think you can be an amazing team! You look great together, but more importantly, there is a great exchange of positive energy between you guys, that jumps towards me when I look at it :-D

However, I also have to admit that I do feel a bit intimidated in the sense of 'how am I as a busy working mom, going to fit in an exercise regime that can make me look my greatest, when my job is not in the fitness industrie'?

I think it would be great if you as a team could pair up with some women of different shapes and sizes, ages and life situations for workouts, to help them achieve their fittest bodies and show us the journey they will have to travel.
That way we can hopefully travel along…

Looking forward to seeing more of your ideas put into 'products'

Hey Angie. Thanks for your input on here. Have you listened to the first episode of The Fit-Life Show yet? We touch on some stuff there. Please feel free to email me (kristyleefitness@me.com) if you feel hearing more of my story will help inspire you. I'm more than happy to share more of my story with those of you that would like to hear it, or would like to get to know me on a more personal level.

Kristy is quite accomplished and to do the dancing work as well as the stunt work she has the perfect body and is obviously good at what she does. I grew up going to school with world class ballerinas who focused on 2 things; training and school- they have nice long and lean bodies. I'm exciting about Kristy joining this team and it's motivating me even more as I continue to recover from a work accident and rebuild my body to become as fit as I can be.

Thanks to both Joey and Kristy for the inspiration! :)

I'm fairly new to Joey's blog, but Holy Awesomeness, Kat – your AMAZING! Up until now, I've been on the fence… then I read your comments. Wow! By far, this comment is the most awesome comments EVER! I think I'm in love… thanks for your powerful words and intuitiveness.

Kristy Lee and Joey Atlas, what a combination. I can't wait to see your monthly web podcast.
Thanks Joey for making it possible.
    Regards, Hilda.

I so enjoyed reading these comments. I am thrilled that Joey and Kristy take so much time to answer them. I have been a fan of Joeys for over 3 years now (maybe 4). I just signed up for your fitness podcast. What exercises to you suggest for flabby menopausal tummy??

Firstly, I am very thin my self. I'm 25 yrs old. 5 ft 6, 100 lbs. Struggle to gain weight with a blazing metab. I am very healthy, feel great. If I were to EVER speak about an overweight individual the way I see people comment on others being “too thin”, I WOULD GET CHEWED ON. You don't hear people say. “Oh, she's way–too–FAT. I would never want to look like her”. That would be rude, yes? The double standard is being overlooked and ignored. I am so discouraged by hearing women comment on how “too thin” and “way too skinny” women with thin frames are. You don't see us say “Eww, Put down the fork why don't you!?” No, because it would be way out of line, ignorant, and hurtful.

With that said, I think that for her size, she is a POWERHOUSE of vitality and strength, and beauty. Pound for pound probably more powerful than most grown men I know (some golden gloves winners). The spirit behind Kristy's exterior is a rare and devastatingly beautiful one. One that is fruitfully sharing here experiences and knowledge with others (=^_^=)

NEGATIVITY IS ANTI-PRODUCTIVE. GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY.
