Photo Update for Beach-Ready-Body Progress

Here are the photos I promised the other day - and some up-to-the-minute "stats": 1 - as of this morning my body-fat% is now hovering around 10% 2 - my body-weight has dipped below 130-lbs a few times here and there 3 - my energy levels are sky-high and pretty even-keeled 4 - with the increase in water lost through sweat, I'm adding a little more pink sea-salt to my meals for the natural, full-spectrum electrolytes (this is very HELPFUL). 5 - In these photos, I'm modeling yet another pair of my "old-school, $5, cut-off sweats". ...Amazing thing is, this particular pair dates back to my college days... Made to last!! lol...

[caption id="attachment_964" align="alignnone" width="346" caption="Mid-April Beach-Ready-Body Update: back"]Mid-April Beach-Ready-Body Update: back[/caption]
NOTES: 1 - I'm really not planning on changing anything, or "trying" to get leaner, etc... All this has been happening with the change in climate - and my daily preferences for activity - and food(s). 2 - Any changes that happen from here forward will be natural effects of climate and lifestyle during this time of year in North Florida. 3 - I'll carry on the same fitness routine when me and the kids head up to New York, to visit family and friends, at the end of the Summer. Even though we won't have the same beach-time activities - we will surely get more trail-hikes and nature-walks in. 4 - A reminder: My overall aim is to maintain an "athletic" look. A healthy and functional appearance. One that is not easy to see when fully clothed - but when the shirt comes off - it is clearly evident I'm "on a program". You can think of it as a "stealth" physique. Ok - as always, thanks for reading - and if you have any thoughts, comments or questions, please post them below - I'd love to hear from you... Your trainer for life, - Joey Atlas

Wow! Joey! Wat a bod! And such a difference from the way you looked in my DVD LBHT I bought years back!! Inspirational! Now, I need that to happen to me!! Got new DVDs? I cannot abide downloads, they don’t play well. Congrats!

  • Pat

    Looking good Joey..

  • Lisa

Hi Joey, thank you for the update. I truly appreciate it. What brand pink sea salt do you buy, what grain size (powder, extra fine grain, fine grain etc.) and where do you like to purchase it?

  • Lou

looking bright eyed and bushy tailed there Joey, fantastic fast results, great you are walking the talk. i kill myself in the gym and doing numerous other things, and since i tried your program i’m thinking that i wasn’t really doing anything properly before, as i feel pain in places i didn’t know about. 😉

Thabi – GREAT observation! I recorded those ULBHTM dvds during a very challenging time of my life… Looking back, yes, you can see I was far from my best in several ways.. Amazing though how when we get things “in order” we can literally turn back our clocks and unleash our best selves 🙂

    Thanks!
    Joey
ps – let me know which dvds you already have and ill share which others you can add 🙂

    Thank you, Pat!

Hi Lou – thanks for sharing your experience here. This is why I do what I do – to help people who need the right guidance 🙂 ..which of my programs are you doing now? ..and which pains have gone away since you ‘found me’??

Hi Lisa – right now im using ‘REAL SALT’, fine grain, from Redmond ( http://www.RealSalt.com ) – I got this one in a bulk bag at Whole Foods… I usually switch it up though – I like to try various brands – from different regions, etc… I sometimes buy from LuckyVitamin.com as well. …How about you?

    Thx!
    Joey

  • @Finland

Unbelievable! I also have some of your earlier DVD’s and hardly recognize you now. Not that you looked bad earlier :))

  • Thabi

I have LBHT and the arm ones only

  • Anonymous

ok – I would add abs/core dvds next…. Do you consider yourself ‘beginner’ – ‘intermed’ – ‘advanced’?

Thank you 🙂 …If you come back to read this – try to elaborate on what you mean by “hardly recognize you now”.. Would be interesting & cool to hear!
    thx!

  • LeeAnn

Can you post your daily/weekly workout routines?

  • Anonymous

Hi LeAnn – thanks for asking – good question.. I’ll post a summary here in the next week or two – but i tend to do my daily/weekly workout updates inside http://www.themagfactor.com – we’d love to have you join us in there 🙂

    best
    Joey
ps – are you using any of my programs yet?

  • LeeAnn

Right now I can’t really afford to pay for extra things, as I’m saving for college in the fall. I just recently joined, and at the moment only have access to you website via android device. I’m not sure how to join or view your programs

  • Looks great!

  • Wow, you are lookin handsome and more defined Joey…. love the new BOD! Do you practice what you preach meaning do you work out using your exercises from http://www.themagfactor.com? I belong to your Mag Factor for about 1 year now and I love it and I have seen results but having PCOS is difficult to get results as fast as I would like but I am hanging in there. What do you think of the new suspension training exercises … http://www.suspensionrevolution.com/

  • Ingrid

Great pics! Can my son and I use your workouts on
    themagfactor.com??

    thx rene! 🙂

hi ingrid – MAG is now “for women only”… so – your best bet is to sign up for your own account – and if your son wants to follow along with you – that could work.

thanks for the kind words kelley! …your compliments are much appreciated!!… not only do i practice what i preach – but i preach what i practice 🙂 ..yes, most of what i do for my training is based on all the training sessions in themagfactor.com – of course i tweak and vary on the fly from week to week – but the methods, foundation and essence are still the same… yes, pcos is a challenge for any woman who is managing it – the key is to stay on track and try to really tune into your body to help you keep the upper hand… i would hold off on this particular suspension program as i have not had a chance to review it – but at quick glance, i would say it is more geared toward males in the 20-35yo zone… maybe some females in that range too.
