Hi Joey, what I most like about you is that you truly care for the human race: it transpires from the fact that you make no reservation in teaching and sharing with all of us ideas and suggestions, from physical to mental health…..thank you from the bottom of my heart….

Joey, I have been on a journey for many years, trying to live my life by 'walking in truth', by which I mean being honest with myself , not always easy but such a clean way to exist, and I generally find that people react accordingly. Now all I have to do is find the courage to start and stick to a health regime(.I did buy one of your earlier programmes a few years ago, but unfortunately couldn't work out how to do the actual exercises as I seem to remember there were no pictures to help.) I love your honesty, and I find your approach truly inspiring, thank you so much.

you should add in your list ( when you have time) Leo Buscaglia and Dalai lama… They are amazing wise authors and they spread love and wisdom…. Hope you have an enlightening 2011…

I agree that change starts within:) I have read many greats books on wisdom and love and my all time favorite is the Bible. It challanges you to grow and guides at the same time, never leaving you alone. I love how Jesus Christ has changed my life from the inside out. The roller coaster of life is still there but now I have a fountain of joy, a river of peace and an ocean of love that flows freely with me. I wish everyone a blessed new year with many great changes inside and out!

There are a lot of folks with good intentions and can make us feel inspired, for a while but I find that nothing compares to The Bible. The problem is that most people are to busy looking for a quick fix and they miss the real blessing that is to be had. Check out the “Case for Christ” by Lee Strobel. He thought Christianity was a myth until spent time really checking it out.
May God Bless and Keep you and yours

Thanks for this article and the recommended reads! I am one of the ones that read your article and usually don't have time to comment but I promise I will be better at it this year (Hey at least I confessed – lol). I always enjoy your articles as I always come out of it learning something new. Happy New Year! I wish you a great and prosperous 2011 in all areas of your life. Your LBTH program have helped me celebrate my 44th birthday (it was the 2nd which sort of sucks for a b'day – lol) in a much leaner, muscular derriere but I still have a ways to go. Any way keep up the great and wonderful work!

Thanks, Joey! These books/sites look like great resources for self-development. I think it is amazing and admirable that you have spent over 10 years of your life working on your personal development. I could always use some of your valuable wisdom in my life – I believe that we all are lifelong learners. You would be a really awesome mentor to study with. 😉

Sometimes when we have problems that we must face they are more than we know how to cope with and the solutions or answers seem unclear. Therefore, it’s nice that you have tried to put together a wide enough selection of self- development material so that we could be able to find something that might fit just what we are looking for.

I am very interested in your personal selections and what you believe to be the best and most helpful available. I know that you have had your share of challenges. It’s good to know which materials have helped you get through some of the toughest times you have ever faced. With the amount of experience you have with self-development you know first hand what teachings help people…what helps someone capable of handling some of the toughest situations.

I feel it’s essential to know how to go forward in life because if you are moving forward, no matter how small an amount, you cannot be going backwards. We need to understand that there is always a choice – we can choose to grow…strengthen our inner character.

Thank you again, for reaching out and giving us your “most powerful secret.” To help others find joy and peace in their heart, mind, and soul; and wisdom – to learn to change and find the beauty within oneself.

BTW: Ummm…yeah – shame on you, Joey! Of course, a woman’s wisdom is beyond priceless! 😀

I agree with the people who find that the BIBLE is the #1 go to book! You can’t find a more powerful resource than that. I’m pretty sure you probably didn’t have this on the list because you didn’t want to offend anyone’s religious beliefs (always thinking of everyone ;-)).

You do make a difference in the world; keep at it! Always ~ Kat
