Combo-Cardio Using Bodyweight, Jump-Rope and Medicine-Ball

Combo-Cardio Using Bodyweight, Jump-Rope and Medicine-Ball AS ALWAYS - PLEASE get your doctor's clearance before doing any type of exercise routine. These 2 videos can easily be combined for a more advanced, full-body cardio routine, you can literally do anywhere-anytime. Here's a convenient Cardio-Combo Cheat-Sheet you can print and take with you, if you wish. [Below the 2 videos are the moves outlined in the cheat-sheet.] Here are some important and interesting notes: A - Combining these 2 sequences will get you breaking a sweat - and you'll have FUN doing it :-) B - As I was putting this post together, I realized how much I've "evolved" from the first video to the second one (and also how much more I've evolved from the second one - up to the present day.) If you pay close attention to the first video it's easy to notice I was struggling with reaching the shape I wanted to be in… But, what may not be so obvious is my struggling "spirit"… I recorded that during a VERY challenging time of life. Everything I did was a true struggle. There was a lot going on - and every minute of the day (& night) was a challenge to work through… But I did it... And in the second video you can 'see' more of the real me. Going through that phase of life is one of the ingredients that fueled my inspiration for the "LIVE to the MAX" mindset and lifestyle. Maybe I'll record a new video in the next few weeks, with some new combo moves - to see what further "evolution" we can pick up on film - both the obvious ones -- and maybe the not-so-obvious :-) ... Will be interesting… C - ok, finally - Assuming you've gotten clearance to do this routine, please give it a try and let me know how you do with it by posting in the comment box at the bottom of this page. I look forward to hearing from you! Your trainer for life, - Joey Atlas
Cheat-Sheet Summary: 1 - Jump-Rope 2 - Up & Downs 3 - Jump-Rope 4 - Up & Downs 5 - Big Diagonals 6 - Big Vs 7 - Upside-Down Vs 8 - Up & Downs w/ Medicine Ball 9 - Up & Downs w/ Medicine Ball - Advanced Again - any questions, comments or thoughts can be placed below... See the box down there? :-)

This really gets my blood pumped quickly.

I love the naked beauty series! I’ve been doing it over a year now and my thighs are smaller more defined but I still have some cellulite on the hamstrings. It seems hard to tighten it completely. I look better now and really enjoy the series when I do it. I do the series two times through and my legs are so pumped. Am I supposed to do it 3 times? If I add the cardio it’s usually the step mill.

    aha – good stuff!!

    – ill assume you’re doing nb 3x per week – so i would suggest, yes, go to 3 times through the routine on the days you do it…
    – remember – move SLOWLY through each repetition.
    – keep me posted!!… i’d love to hear what further progress you see over the next few weeks and months
    – also, let me know if you’ve tried the ulbhtm dvds – might be good timing for those next πŸ™‚

ps – thanks for the awesome feedback, lisa! (…weird, your name came through via my email notice from your post – but says ‘guest’ above your post.)

    Xcellent, bev πŸ™‚

  • ankita19871 .

I wanna ask that exactly when should I do these exercises ? I have purchased your ULBHTM. Its been a month now and I have lost 3 Kilograms of weight πŸ™‚

  • Anonymous

hi ankita – same as the other post πŸ™‚ you can add these in whenever you wish – there is no “one right time” for these πŸ™‚

  • Lisa

    Hi Joey,
I’m a 52 year old woman and have had cellulite my entire life. I’ve always worked out but nothing seems to help. I have purchased your plan with hopes of helping . If this doesn’t help, I suppose I’ll just get old and fat. My question is how long will it take to see results, and I realize everyone is different. Thank you.

hi lisa – you answered your own questions here “and I realize everyone is different”…

    – also – you have to look beyond your ‘cellulite’ issue… yes, you want to reduce and get rid of what you don’t like seeing about your lower body.. BUT, you should also be doing the program for the bigger, deeper benefits – those being the desire to live longer, with optimal wellness – and the highest quality of life possible… so stick with it – and not only will it help – but it will help in ways you never could have imagined… life is long – be your fittest (don;t give up and let yourself go) to enjoy it the most πŸ™‚

Hi,Joey, thank you for your posts but unfortunately i don’t work so i can’t send money to buy the books you recommend, would you believe that after 30 years i went back to school this time it’s vocational and i am into the tourism administration, after being unemployed for 8 years?

Hey, Joey! I’ve been going through the Naked Beauty series for 3 weeks now. I haven’t lost any weight yet, but the cellulite is starting to smooth out a little. I was thinking of adding the cardio to my schedule cause I have at least 60 lbs to lose since I had my third child. I was just going to ask your opinion on whether you think this will help? I’ve been very careful with my diet and have been on Herbalife’s ultimate weight loss program for a few months and still nothing. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

  • JoeyAtlas

The smoothing of the dimples and shadows is an AWESOME sign πŸ™‚
..yes, add the cardio if you have 60lbs to lose.. it will help.

  • Kelly Martin

For a current update… Over the past week, I have shed an inch of my hips and a half inch off my upper arm/ bicep. Definately making progress!

Hey Joey! I bought your NB program in October of last year and have been doing it 3x week 3x thru with cardio in between since November 1st. I recently bought your ULBHTM dvd’s and have started doing those. I LOVE ‘EM!!! It’s like death by! Even thhough I’ve been working out for over 5 months, I was sore after I did it the first time..waking up those lazy butt muscles..Boo yah!

I’m am not overweight at 128lbs/5’9″ but I want to add cardio and upper body into my routine to tackle my “most-stubborn-cellulite-on-planet” issue. Now, you warned not to overdo the cardio in the instructions on the Symulast method. How much cardio and upper body should I do with the ULBHTM dvd? I have no clue what I’m doing with exercise and I don’t want to jack this all up.

Thanks for all you do to help bring fitness to everyday people like me out here, Joey! I love the personal attention, support and knowledge you offer with your programs. You da man!

    Keep being a blessing,

Hi Kris! …LOVE hearing this awesome feedback and your progress – way to go!

Now, I can’t do coaching here on my blog (that is why I created the private forum area in The MAG Factor)… But I can say – just keep cardio light/low volume and add more if you feel you need it…

If you need more guidance than that – feel free to join me in MAG so I give specific coaching, etc…

Either way keep me posted on your awesome success!! 2 months on ULBHT and you’ll make 41 seem like a joke :-))

Keep your head up and keep moving forward, Moonbeam.. Something is out there for YOU.

Thanks Joey! You’re the best πŸ™‚

    You got it! πŸ™‚

Hi Joey, I have been working out regularly for a couple of years. In yoga pants my butt looks amazing but when they are off it’s cellulite central. I want to purchase your products because of the great reviews but I’m not sure which one I should get. What do you suggest??

  • JoeyAtlas

    Naked Beauty/SYMULAST Method :-))
Keep me posted on your hot progress!

  • Steph

Joey, I am using the naked beauty/symulast, it’s brilliant , I have learnt so much from all the info you send through, however can you please clarify for me..
    1. I obviously understand that bad food choices like sugar, wheat etc have an affect on body weight and fat, however are you saying it has absolutely nothing to do with the appearance of cellulite?
    2. Also do you have an exercise that particularly targets inner thigh cellulite please?
    Thanks very much. Steph.

  • JoeyAtlas

1 – this is not an absolute answer… every person is different and brings other factors to the table.
2 – stick with the program because ‘as a whole’ – it gets the inner thigh.. If you need a more intense and challenging program to get that area in the the future you can step up to my ULBHTM dvds.
Keep me posted on your progress!

First I like to say thanks for all your workout videos. I’ll be trying this routine soon and I will comment. So far as I looked at I loved it. I like that you allow us to work out just with our body weight. I’ve always thought that you had to lift a lot of weight in order to get in the best shape, now as I’m older that’s not true, but you have to be consistent. Thanks again for your time and excellent videos. From M.

  • JoeyAtlas

    Consistency is the key…

    You got it!
