#1 food that killed my aunt at the age of only 57

Did you get a chance to see the article link from the NY Times I sent you yesterday? I don't know about you - but it really hit home for me. See, my mom has 2 sisters. One of them (Theresa) died at the young age of 57yo. (she looked much older than 57 - keep reading to see why).

God rest her soul - we wish she was still with us - as she was 'unique', full of love and always the source of good humor. BUT, her early departure was no surprise - as about 72% percent of her diet was 'SUGAR'… Yes, sugar kills. I witnessed it with my own eyes - a slow death that culminated at the age of 57 for my aunt. This was one of the events that inspired me to do the work I do today…

If you read the article I sent you yesterday - you'd have seen an important study highlighted in it. (go read it if you didn't yet).

This study, for the first time ever, conclusively pinpointed the #1 cause of type 2 diabetes and by extension, excess, stubborn weight.

They did, however, miss one incredibly important detail, which I'll explain in a second, but first, let's get to the good stuff that they DID get right.

The study showed that the link between this #1 cause of type 2 diabetes and by extension, extra, stubborn flab, was just as strong as the link between cigarettes and lung cancer.

So what is this #1 cause?

Sugar - plain and simple.

Shocked? I didn't think so.

But what WAS shocking is what this column goes on to say:

"All calories give off the same amount of energy when burned, but your body treats sugar calories differently, and that difference is damaging."

FINALLY -- someone from the mainstream media acknowledging what we've known for years, which is that not all calories are created equal… and that THE most devastating waist-expanding, artery-clogging, diabetes-causing calories you can consume comes from sugar.

HOWEVER, this study and this article miss one incredibly important detail.

It's not just plain old sugar itself that triggers your body to accumulate excess fat and causes type 2 diabetes - it's also all of the foods that our bodies quickly turn INTO sugar that does the SAME thing.

These are foods that most of us eat EVERY DAY - foods that we THOUGHT were healthy, but in fact are absolutely LOADED with sugar in various forms.

It's these hidden forms of sugar that you want to ban body -- they shut down your body's primary fat burning hormone while FORCING your body's primary fat storage hormone to overact, causing layers of unwanted body-fat to accumulate.

World-renowned nutritionist, Dr J Bowden, outlines all of these hidden forms of sugar - and exactly how you can avoid them, here:

==> Cut These 2 Foods to Avoid Excess Belly-Flab and Type 2 Diabetes…

I highly recommend tuning in, if you have any concerns about excess belly-flab, pre-mature aging or diabetes - and all the bad that comes with those...

    Hi Joey,
My brother died in 1981 at 23 years old. He hated having pennies in his pocket for change, so he always threw them on the ground or gave them away. Since his death my family all pick up every penny we find and think of our brother each time we find one. I have one more brother who was married 34 years and his wife passed away suddenly a few years ago at age 54 and she collected nickles. My brother was devastated by her passing as we all were. We are a very close family and never got over my first brother’s death and now her death. Our Mom and Dad are passed also, so we just had each other). Well, my brother said he was going to collect dimes now because my other brother was connected to pennies and his wife was connected to nickles. My brother went down hill after his wife passed and he passed away 2 years later in 2011. I took his passing very hard, he was the only one I had left that I grew up with.
I work as a Correctional Officer at a prison and I took bereavement leave and was off work for a couple extra weeks. The day I returned to work was very hard for me, so I sat in my car in the parking lot for a while trying to compose myself for my first day back because I was still very upset about it. I sat there talking to my loved one’s spirits, who had passed and asked them to be with me in spirit at work that day because I was having a hard time going back to work after losing my only sibling I had left. None of them had ever come for a tour of the prison and they had wanted to so I asked them to come today.
When I got into my work I stopped to use the restroom because I wanted to wash the tears off of my face before I saw my co workers. This restroom is in the secure perimeter so the public doesn’t use it, I went to the sink and there was a penny and a nickle and a dime stacked up on the sink and I just couldn’t believe my eyes. I believe my two brother’s and my sister in-law put the coins there to show me I was not alone and they were with me. Wow was that an eye opener for me. I will never doubt that they were with me that day and will remember it for the rest of my life.
If this was not a prison it wouldn’t be that rare to find coins in the restroom, but Inmates are not allowed to have money so you never find money in the prison restroom. I have worked there 15 years and have never found money in that restroom, so I truely believe our loved ones are still watching us in the afterlife.
Thanks for reading my story, your story touched me.

Ghost story: I love this topic since I watch Ghost Adventures and I believe in spirits and ghosts and Ghost Adventures comes on every Friday on the Travel Channel and love Zach who is so muscular and just healthy looking and buff. Anyway, my family inherited this masterpiece hutch which is very old and is all wooden and hand carved and who knows how much it is worth but anyway my great great grandmother who only spoke German used to own this hutch in which she stored her china, utensils, etc. She did not like beer and my family ended up storing cases and cases of beer in this hutch and they had an old key to lock it. After storing the beer in the hutch in which my great great grandmother hated beer, about 5 minutes after the hutch door would be wide open…no one knew how the locked hutch doors came open but it would only happen when beer was stored in the hutch. We tried debugging it to see if the locks were faulty but we could only perceive that the reason it would happen was because my great great grandmother hated beer and was implying that she wanted the beer out. So we took the beer out and then locked the hutch and the door stopped opening by itself. Scary!

    Hi Joey,
Almost 3 years ago my husband who was in Italy at the time was ill. My son and I were here in the states and were leaving to be with him. We have a home there also. The very day we arrived
he passed away and we never had a chance to say goodbye. We thought we’d be together for
Christmas and instead it was for his funeral. Needless to say I was so distraught and numb.
The morning after his burial I was in his favorite chair and fell asleep from exhaustion and our
son also on the sofa. My husband appeared in the door way of the living room and looked at
us both and his head went down like he was sobbing and I woke up and cried that he appeared
as it was so real. I knew he stood there and never entered the room because he was on the
other side and wanted to look at us both… I will never forget this as long as I live………..
    He is missed beyond words……….

    Thank you for listening,
    Donna

    Hi Joey,

    Now this
story is sort of a ghost story but from a different point of view about being
on the other side. Hope it doesn’t sound too weird but it is 100% the truth of
the matter. I was 26 years old and I had to have a major kidney operation. I
went into hospital and was scheduled to have the operation the following
morning around 10am. That afternoon I asked the nurse who was checking me into
the hospital for the operation if there was any possibility of there being
anything with the morphine machine they were going to hook me up with after the
procedure (call this gut instinct). Her words to me were “don’t be
stupid” anyway I had the operation and by mid afternoon I was extremely
sick. By the next day I was very very sick as I had an infection as well. I was
so sick that they had come to give me my last rights. By the early morning the
following day the same nurse was working on me frantically trying to bring me
back. You see I had passed away. Now during the whole time while they were
working on me I people would say out of my body watching them working on me
(sitting in the corner of the room). Once I got better of course nobody
believed me and what I was trying to tell them that had happened. They soon
changed their mind once I told them everything that was going on in the room at
that time while they were trying to bring me back. I described everyone in the
room including the discussions that were had. You see my mother was arguing
with the doctor at the time and blaming him for what had happened. I have never
been a religious person but I can say that my whole outlook on life knowing there is more to life. Also it turns out there was a problem with the morphine machine
(like I said to the nurse) and the safety catch on this was broken which in
turn followed morphine into my body which caused me to overdose and my lungs
    collapsed and my heart stopped.

Hi Joey very interesting unique story about your aunt and the glass of water.
I am a former well known medium website http://www.ommaster.com  In my first book, I wrote about my late husband’s mom emailing us using an  offline and date from 1969 . as a visionary and spiritual healer I have daily experiences.. and my husband wrote me the other day and told me he would give me signs he had come through.. the next morning I found a notebook open to the page in 2011 April a to do list of calling for death certificates etc soon after a song he would play on his guitar came on the radio and it was a boost from him to me to get me to get my music out there or continue to . Life goes on they watch over us.. no doubt.. even though he committed suicide his first written messge to me, was get my music out there and “I’m not dead Steph!”

    Hi Joey,

I have many stories I could tell you:

I was born into a family of Spiritualists and my grandmother
was a powerful Spiritualist medium and so – for the first 29 years of my life –
communication with the realm of the spirit world was second nature to me. To
hear a voice from the spirit world or to possess items which had been
materialized in a séance setting was quite a normal occurrence.

When I met Jesus Christ at the age of 29 I learned from the
Scriptures that to communicate with that spirit world was, in the sight of God,
very wrong. Solomon – the wisest man who ever lived – said, “The dead have
nothing more to do with anything that is done in this life.” From this I can
surmise that it was not your aunt who performed that stunt with the water but
some demonic trickster who wanted to deceive you into thinking that it was her.

In 1 Chronicles 10: 13, 14 it is written that King Saul died
because he consulted that spirit world for guidance instead of trusting God to
    guide him.

    Deuteronomy 18: 10 – 12 clearly tells us that it is a
detestable thing to be in communication with the dead.

In Spiritualism we called those spirits our angel friends
but 2 Corinthians says the even Satan makes himself look like an angel of
    light.

Joey, I do sincerely pray that your eyes and heart will be
open to the truths of God’s Word for that Word is the only means by which we
can learn the truth about eternal life. Jesus said in John 14: 6, “I am the
way, the truth and the life: No one comes to the Father – only by me.” John 1:
12 says, “Those who believe in Him (Jesus), He gave the right to become the
    children of God.”

     Hi Joey,
About four years ago, one of my sons, his wife and his two year old girl were driving home in the Queen Creek, AZ area. They were on the 60 freeway and took the Ironwood exit south towards Baseline Road.  My son Kyle was prompted for some reason to talk about his Grandparents (my Mom and Dad). He told his wife how good they were to him and how they always protected him as a little boy and always took his side. At that time his Grandfather had been dead for about six years.  As their car approached Baseline Rd. the light was green and Kyle thought “why am I going so slow, I need to make that green light.”  At that same time he felt the presence of his Grandfather behind him in the back seat, even though the back seat was empty.  As the car got closer to the intersection the feeling that his Grandfather was with him got stronger and stronger, so much so that Kyle wanted to turn around and look into the back seat. But he knew that the intersection was coming up and he knew he had to speed up in order to make the green light. He went to push on the gas petal harder when he felt his Grandfathers large, strong hands on his shoulders pulling him back!  Kyle said that the feeling was so surreal and dream like. He was not able to push on the gas and his car slowly glided up to the intersection.  Just then, from the left, a huge semi truck, running the red light, came speeding through the intersection, just missing their car by inches!  From beyond the grave, my Father again protected Kyle and his family, saving their lives.

Hi Julie, the response you gave Joey is a good one. Anyone that does not believe the bible as the only rule of faith will believe that evil spirits they communicate with are really their dead loved ones. These evil spirits are so cunning that they allow us to have experiences that will convince us that our loved ones are communicating with us. But the bible s clear that this is not so. The dead knows nothing. Eccl. 9:5-6. The very day they die their thoughts perish. Ps. 146:4. Death means the absence of life. God is the only one who hath immortality. 1 Tim. 6:16 We only receive immortality when Jesus comes again. 1 Cor. 15:52-53. When Jesus comes the righteous dead will rise first. 1 Thess. 4:16. But how can they rise if they are in heaven as is commonly believed. In order to decieve us the devil first gets us to trust him, which is what these spirits do, then they can feed us lies to cause us to lose our salvation, which is the devil’s ultimate goal. There is so much more to say but for now keep trusting.

hi julie – and thanks for sharing your perspective – very much appreciated…
i believe the key is for us to let these experiences be what we want them to be – to mean what we believe them to mean… seen with our own interpretation… while respecting what anything else may mean to others – in their life…

that’s the short version – so i hope it makes some sense 🙂
